Mastro Geppetto: Rusticato Bent Apple Tobacco Pipe

Since its founding in 1982, Ser Jacopo has become one of the most recognizable and iconic pipe brands in all of Italy. Under the watchful stewardship of founder Giancarlo Guidi, the workshop developed a style that has since come to define the Pesaro shaping aesthetic. Each Ser Jacopo pipe is imbued with a whimsical sense of character that reflects the brand's creativity and playful spirit. Ser Jacopo's sub-brand Mastro Geppetto offers the same whimsical shaping style and rich aesthetics as the main brand, but at a more accessible price point. This bent Apple by Mastro Geppetto is a stocky take on the classic form, with a pronounced muscularity evident throughout the stummel. Up front, a broad, squat bowl stands atop a lifted heel and grows thick, insulating walls that arc upward to a flat rim. Said bowl is paired to an upturned shank and a demurely curved saddle stem, the latter of which promotes a comfortable smoking posture. A crisp rustication dresses the stummel and lends a wealth of tactile detail to this expressive design.
