Mastro Geppetto: Rusticato Bent Bulldog Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-819-1562
Founded in 1982, Ser Jacopo is now one of the most influential and iconic pipe brands throughout Italy. Founded by Giancarlo Guidi, this workshop helped popularize Pesaro shaping and is known for working with high-quality briar to create whimsical and flamboyant pieces that exaggerate the classic Italian style. A Ser Jacopo sub-brand, Mastro Geppetto offers similarly playful pipes, including this bent Bulldog. A muscular interpretation of the traditional silhouette, the bowl of this Bulldog is tall and robust, marked by a singular ridgeline at its waist from which the walls taper inward. A respectable tobacco chamber is nestled within the bowl, ensuring ample smoking time with this pipe. Out back, the shape's signature diamond paneling extends from the transition, through the shank, and softening at the stem. The inky pigment of the acrylic mouthpiece complements Mastro Geppetto's Rusticato finish, which dresses the stummel in a dark, rugged rustication.
