Micah Redmond: Sandblasted Mini Tomato with Bakelite Tobacco Pipe

Though very similar in overall proportions to the smooth finished Mini Tomato also appearing in this same Micah Redmond batch, here the artisan in question did make some significant tweaks shape-wise. The main difference is simply beefiness, or a sense of it at least, created by Micah going with a fuller underside and lower bowl versus the other Mini Tomato's long, upward sweeping underside and heel. This change itself allowed for a different approach to the chamber: the smooth Mini Tomato sports a chamber arranged with a noticeable cant, allowing it more depth despite the lifting heel and underside of its form, while here Micah went with only a slight cant of chamber, which on account of the fuller bowl sacrificed only a little in the way of depth (made up for by this one being a bit broader).
