Michael Parks: Sandblasted Canted Cutty (IV.16) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-473-0075

Today's update of Michael Parks pipes sees the inclusion of not just one, but two renditions of the Cutty shape. The first, being a gorgeously contrast-stained number, should have been the one that initially caught my eye, as said glossy finish practically leaps out at you once light hits it. However, it was this undeniably craggy, dark-stained beauty that really shined (metaphorically speaking). The combination of finish and shape, said shape being arguably the most classic of all canonical pipe shapes, and said finish being a phenomenal sandblast from one of the finest in the world at executing said finish, is a perfect marriage, with nary a line compromised by the rich, grain-coaxing treatment. Not to go unnoticed is the stem, a novel brindled palette of olive, dark brown, and tangerine, which when viewed from afar, visually melds together into a creamy horn-like appearance. Simply stunning work from Michael.
