In this premier batch of briars from Dennis Moller, we're met with a number of profoundly Danish takes on the classics. Take this Billiard, for example, with its additional bit of weight at the bowl's base, offering a light sense of curve in profile. Despite the aforementioned softened roundness, it does a pretty good job of keeping itself upright on a flat surface, and the rusticated texture in hand is stimulating to boot. Adding to all that, the mount of smoky gray horn offers a pleasant complement to the jet-black textured finish.
