A stout, chubby take on the bent Billiard, this piece from Musico balances a good bit of briar to the bowl, transition, and shank alike with some pretty tight-knit proportions length wise. That compactness really emphasizes the muscularity of the piece in profile, seemingly nodding to those early turn of the century pipes that are so popular on the estate market nowadays. The finish is quite impressive too: an extra dark, ring grain-abundant sandblast paired to a broad sterling silver band for just the right amount of flash.
