A charmingly English rendition of the bent Pot shape, this piece from Italian workshop Musico pairs a broad, squat bowl to a trim shank and sleek stem, fostering an aesthetic that is classic, reserved, and undeniably handsome. The shank itself transitions at a fairly wide angle, kicking the shank upward just a touch and affording the demurely curved, army mounted stem a slight arc as it ebbs forth from the silver dome of the shank end. An earthy chestnut sandblast dresses the stummel here, reminding me of the works of certain storied English marques, and it contrasts quite handsomely with the silver shank end fitment, offering a subdued, refined aesthetic that is sure to make this a standout part of any rotation.
