Musico: Sandblasted Billiard with Silver Tobacco Pipe

Musico's aesthetic is quite different from many of the other names in Italian pipe making, as, rather than crafting bold, neoclassical designs, they instead focus on more petite, classic profiles in the vein of the Anglo-French marques of old. This Billiard is certainly evidence of that, though it appears as if the bowl has been given a touch more substance than is usual, but it certainly still maintains that timeless look and sense of proportion, matching well with the trim stretch of shank and stem. A dark, inky sandblast dresses the stummel, contrasting the silver band at the shank end quite handsomely, and revealing some lovely grain, the palette on offer here a timeless, elegant one.
