Musico: Sandblasted Bent Billiard with Boxwood (Floodlight) Tobacco Pipe

A charming, classically inclined rendition of the bent Billiard, this Musico offering features a slightly canted bowl that urges forward from the curling transition. The broad curve of the bowl's underside does much to accentuate this design's free-flowing nature while the sinuously bent shank-and-stem combination provides balance, and calls to mind Dunhill's iconic "LC" shape in profile. The deep, earthy sandblast beautifully showcases some rippling growth rings all around the bowl, though especially on the right flank, with a pale boxwood band along the stem base providing some tasteful contrast. The hand-cut vulcanite stem displays a gradual taper toward the comfortably shaped lip button, terminating in a gentle downturn for easy clenching.
