A bold, muscular shape, this Bulldog from Muisco balances a tall, upright bowl at the end of a lean diamond shank and a tapered mouthpiece. The bowl, as is typical for the form, features a prominent beadline around its midsection that demarcates the tapered rim from the rest of the stummel. The firm lines of the diamond shank provide a touch of structure to the overall composition. An earthy sandblast dresses the stummel and accentuates the natural grain orientation of the briar, while a boxwood accent adorns the shank end and provides a dose of warmth to the pipe in profile.
