A unique take on the classic Prince shape, this piece from Musico features a broad, Tomato-like bowl with a rim framed by eight crisp facets. The facets lend the bowl an octagonal appearance when viewed from above and provide a touch of muscular definition to the overall form. The shank-and-stem arrangement takes on a gentle downturn as it exists the transition, and it tapers rapidly across its length, slenderizing the aft side of the composition and drawing most of the visual weight to the fore. Dressed in a warm, traditional smooth finish, the stummel displays an impressive array of flame grain and birdseye.
