Musico: Smooth Bent Billiard with Silver (Set) Tobacco Pipe

The story of the Musico workshop began with Giorgio Musico, who frequently bought pipes from Italian pipe maker Fritz Becker. Their sons, Massimo Musico and Paolo Becker, would go on to found the Becker & Musico workshop, which primarily crafted classic pipe shapes. Eventually, the two went their separate ways, with Massimo Musico continuing to pursue a traditional aesthetic. This bent Billiard by Musico features a fascinating shank-and-stem arrangement that presents a sinuous profile but bends far past parallel with the rim. Therefore, the bowl will tilt forwards when the pipe is smoked, instead of being upright like most other classical interpretations of the shape. Furthermore, the shank and stem join via a military mount, making it easy to break down this pipe while hot. The classic Billiard bowl at the fore feels familiar in hand and showcases fetching grain dressed in a chestnut smooth finish.
