Primed for easy pocket carry, this compact Billiard from Musico presents a muscular, rounded bowl with an extremely understated taper toward the rim, its pronounced heel and cylindrical build affording it a reassuring feel in hand. Despite its overall abbreviated length, there's plenty of chamber depth to be found in the thick-walled bowl. It's affixed to a rounded shank accentuated by a brindled mount and topped by a slender, push-style stem for a handsome profile. The stummel is wearing a warm, walnut-hued sandblast, bringing to mind those seen on pipes from English and French marques of the early 20th century. Said sandblast unveils a delightful display of rippling ring grain cascading down the bowl, with the rim and underside covered in birdseye.
