The story of the Musico workshop began with Giorgio Musico, who frequently bought pipes from Italian pipe maker Fritz Becker. Their sons, Massimo Musico and Paolo Becker, would go on to found the Becker & Musico workshop, which primarily crafted classic pipe shapes. Eventually, the two went their separate ways, with Massimo Musico continuing to pursue a traditional aesthetic. This Billiard by Musico is a compact and lightweight rendition of the timeless shape, measuring in at under 5 inches long and possessing a weight of less than a tenth of a pound. The trim bowl is poised at the fore of a slender shank and sleek tapered stem, creating a tidy, genteel profile. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a smoky chestnut stain, highlighting wisps of fetching cross grain and birdseye across the stummel.
