Musico: Sandblasted Acorn with Bone (Floodlight Special) Tobacco Pipe

The story of the Musico workshop began with Giorgio Musico, who frequently bought pipes from Italian pipe maker Fritz Becker. Their sons, Massimo Musico and Paolo Becker, would go on to found the Becker & Musico workshop, which primarily crafted classic pipe shapes. Eventually, the two went their separate ways, with Massimo Musico continuing to pursue a traditional aesthetic. This Acorn by Musico features a tall bowl that flares from its firm, conservative heel to its broad, rounded rim. Said bowl is posed at the fore of a trim, upturned shank and a demurely curved tapered stem, the latter of which joins the former at a junction accented with bone. Additionally, the bowl houses a capacious chamber within its softly contoured frame, ensuring plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. Dressing this piece is a crisp, jet-black sandblast that highlights handsome grain across the bowl and shank alike.
