Musico: Smooth Bent Billiard (Set Special) Tobacco Pipe

The story of the Musico workshop began with Giorgio Musico, who frequently bought pipes from Italian pipe maker Fritz Becker. Their sons, Massimo Musico and Paolo Becker, would go on to found the Becker & Musico workshop, which primarily crafted classic pipe shapes. Eventually, the two went their separate ways, with Massimo Musico continuing to pursue a traditional aesthetic. This bent Billiard by the Musico workshop is a compact rendition of the classic form, measuring less than four and a half inches long. That being said, while possessing a reserved footprint, this piece also boasts a muscular build, with a hefty, full-bodied bowl heading the composition. Said bowl consists of thick, insulating walls that stand atop a plump heel and reach up to a plateau-crowned rim. A sturdy shank and a slightly bent saddle stem bring up the pipe's aft and support the aforementioned bowl, all while keeping the shape's overall outline sleek and tidy. Dressing this piece is a dark, smoky smooth finish that highlights healthy grain throughout the stummel.
