Musico: Smooth Bent Dublin (Club Special) Tobacco Pipe

The story of the Musico workshop began with Giorgio Musico, who frequently bought pipes from Italian pipe maker Fritz Becker. Their sons, Massimo Musico and Paolo Becker, would go on to found the Becker & Musico workshop, which primarily crafted classic pipe shapes. Eventually, the two went their separate ways, with Massimo Musico continuing to pursue a traditional aesthetic. Shape-wise, this bent Dublin by Musico is fairly straightforward take on the classic form, complete with a tall, flaring bowl, an upturned shank, and a demurely curved mouthpiece. The shape's finish, however, is quite unique, pairing a rugged, gnarled-looking carving with a smooth stain, creating ample texture while still showcasing handsome grain beneath the briar's light hues.
