Much like Peder Jeppesen's Salmon series that decorates briars with a sterling silver fish and functional rotating reel, Neerup's Harvest Moon line also utilizes accents to present pipes based on a certain theme. Named after the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox, the Harvest Moon series features accents crafted from silver or bronze along the shank face that display a full moon. This particular bent Apple features a bronze accent that's been cratered and textured to resemble the line's namesake. It's also the perfect complement to the stummel's smoldering contrast stain while the plump proportions and compact length showcase Peder's keen eye for shaping.
