Neerup: P. Jeppesen Handmade Ida Easy Cut Partially Rusticated Freehand (4)

Product Number: 002-203-5103

A very large, very smooth, very shapely Freehand from Peder Jeppesen of Neerup pipes, this piece is partially rusticated along the heel and bottom of the shank, drifting up along the left-hand side of the end of the shank, which flicks upward and increases the perceived curvature of bowl and shank. That rusticated lower surface permits the pipe to sit sturdily on its own, which is a nice feature in a pipe this large. Peder's signature contrast stain and glossy finishing technique is on fine display as well, highlighting the natural beauty of the briar.
