Neerup's Handmade series features pipes that are made entirely by hand, typically larger in size, and are often distinctively unique in the appearance. Craggy plateau graces the entire fore of the bowl of this impressive Freehand design, imbuing the composition with organicism and offering plenty of fascinating texture in hand. The ridgelines that outline the bowl's flanks call to mind the Elephant's Foot shape and give the piece a sturdy feel in hand while also allowing the spectacular grain to stand out underneath one of Peder's warm, vibrant contrast stains. A creamy-hued accent mount adorns the shank end, followed by the elegantly arcing acrylic stem.
