Handmade by Peder Jeppesen of Neerup, the Ida Easy Cut series consists of unique designs made and finished completely by hand. Shape-wise, this example maintains the firm ridgelines and bulging flanks expected from the Blowfish design but strongly dramatizes the proportions with the bowl offering plenty of palm-filling substance. It's certainly an ideal way to showcase the piece's fabulous grain, as the flanks display mesmerizing birdseye patterns. It's also been tastefully dressed in a smooth, glossy stain, accented by a band of creamy acrylic at the shank end.
