An almost Pot-like Apple interpretation, this Neerup rendition nicely captures Peder Jeppesen's penchant for robust, muscular designs. The bowl displays a strong degree of forward-urging momentum, with the elegantly arching shank-and-stem combination balancing the bowl's cant. Finished in a low-profile sandblast, the stummel's contrast stain is primarily dark with lighter hues evident along the upper bowl and rim. The pale, creamy hues of the acrylic stem and shank-end accent offers some vibrant, colorful contrast.
