Neerup: P. Jeppesen Handmade Ida Easy Cut Sandblasted Freehand (3)
Product Number: 002-203-6123
Made entirely by Peder Jeppesen, this Freehand is part of the talented carver's Handmade Ida Easy Cut series, with this large Dublin-like rendition boasting sharp angles and complex line work. Plateau crowns the flaring rim of the forward-urging bowl, which is more conservatively shaped compared to some of Peder's more flourishing renditions. A deep, sweeping transition is followed by a curling, flaring shank end, which is partially adorned with plateau. Topped by a pale, acrylic stem of muted tones and dressed in a smoky sandblast, this Freehand exemplifies the creativity behind the carver's intentions.-Angela Robertson
