Neerup: P. Jeppesen Handmade Ida Easy Cut Sandblasted Freehand (3)
Product Number: 002-203-6129
Handmade from beginning to end by Neerup's Peder Jeppesen, this Ida Easy Cut Freehand hints at the Danish Fancy style. This large piece resembles a Dublin, with its forward cant and flare toward the rim. In this Freehand, a pair of vertical ridgelines rise to the rim along the left flank for visual and textural diversity. It also presents craggy and dark plateau crowning the rim and along the top of the sharply sloped shank face. A sure Sitter, thanks to the slim, paneled underside and dressed in a dark, low-level sandblast that highlights plentiful growth rings, this piece is topped by a slender, downturned stem of yellow, cream and black hues.-Angela Robertson
