The bowl displays a strong degree of forward-urging momentum, with the elegantly arching shank-and-stem combination balancing the bowl's cant. Finished in a low-profile sandblast, the stummel's contrast stain is primarily dark with lighter hues revealing visual flame grain all around, while a pale shank end accent and the stem's cream and coffee hues offer further contrast.
