Neerup: Basic Partially Rusticated Acorn (2) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-203-7335
While this bent Acorn from Peder Jeppesen offers the form's characteristic pointed, sharply defined heel, it is rendered in upscaled proportions, with the bowl holding most of the visual weight within the composition. The angularity of the heel contrasts against the otherwise rounded shaping of the bowl while the shank flows out of the low-set transition and curls upwards toward a jet-black saddle stem, which itself bends downward for a comfortable smoking posture. The stummel wears a light, glossy smooth finish that accentuates the natural grain orientation of the briar, save for part of the left flank, which features patches of dark rustication for a touch of tactile diversity.
