Neerup: Basic Smooth Bent Billiard (3) Tobacco Pipe

A trimmer sort of Billiard shape from Peder Jeppesen, this piece still features that signature Neerup style of stout-walled bowl, only with a shorter, more lithe kind of shank and stem — really emphasizing the shape's lovely S-curve in profile. The thick walls of the bowl are crowned with craggy plateau, offering some organic detail, while the briar itself has been dressed in a handsome mahogany contrast stain that highlights lovely grain patterns and works well with the vibrant hues of the acrylic saddle stem.
