Neerup: Basic Sandblasted Tomato (3) Tobacco Pipe

Fitting well into Peder Jeppesen's compact, muscular shaping style, this Tomato measures just a touch of five inches in length, but it boasts a plump, profile-dominating bowl of considerable breadth. The high-waisted bowl boasts thick insulating walls that nicely fill the hand and rise to a rounded rim. The pinched, low-set transition births an ovoid shank that broadens across its abbreviated length to a wide, plateau-crowned face, which then surrenders to an arcing saddle stem of multicolored acrylic. The stummel wears a smoldering, contrast-stained sandblast that accentuates the natural grain orientation of the briar and provides stimulating traction for the finger to grip.
