This Freehand belongs to Peder Jeppesen's Handmade line, a series of pipe that are, appropriately, made entirely by hand. This particular piece boasts a strong sense of geometry to its construction, with crisp panels comprising the fore and one flank of the bowl. The triangular shank continues the structural motif started by the bowl and curls upward into a slender, arcing mouthpiece of jet-black acrylic. It's all dressed in one of Jeppesen's contrast-stained smooth finises, highlighting the natural grain orientation of the briar quite nicely.
