Crafted completely by hand, this Boutique bent Apple from Peder Jeppesen is an ornate rendition of the shape, pairing one of the Danish carver's signature contrast stains to a tan and black accent ring and a sterling silver mount. Shape wise, this piece features a broad, voluptuous bowl lent a gestural poise thanks to a subtly lifted heel. The shank flares gradually coming out of the low-slung transition, somewhat dwarfed in profile by the hearty proportions of the bowl, before giving way to the aforementioned accoutrements and an abbreviated saddle stem of jet-black acrylic.
