Neerup: P. Jeppesen Handmade High Grade Smooth Freehand Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-203-7480
Peder Jeppesen's Freehands are always quite striking, and this particular one is no different. Hearty and palm-filling, this piece is a substantial bit of briar, with a broad, horizontally compressed bowl that's paired to an equally robust shank. The saddle stem is comparatively slender and makes a gentle downturn for a comfortable smoking posture. The entire rim is covered in craggy, earth-toned plateau, adding a touch of rugged texture to the composition as well as bit of organic vibrancy. The stummel wears a warm, contrast-staiend smooth finish that highlights whorls of birdseye across the heel and shank.
