Neerup: Classic Partially Rusticated Bent Dublin (3) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-203-7562
An interesting bent Dublin rendition, this piece from Peder Jeppesen of Neerup boasts a stance that's quite active. Much of this stance is owed to the angle of the flattened heel upon which the bowl rests, though the bowl itself also takes on a flaring forward curve through the walls, resulting in a posture that's imbued with a good deal of momentum. The shank curves upward out of a mid-set transition, much like a Cherrywood, and meets the demurely downturned saddle stem at a band of matching multicolored acrylic. Dressed in a warm mahogany stain, this piece is rich with even further contrast thanks to its silver-hued band across the stem and darker partial rustication.
