Neerup: P. Jeppesen Handmade Ida Easy Cut Sandblasted Paneled Bent Pot (2) Tobacco Pipe

A robust rendition of the shape chart standard, this bent Pot by Neerup's Peder Jeppesen is a fine example of the Danish artisan's signature style. The stout bowl in this piece rests upright on its flattened heel, with a taper leading up to a broad rim, housing a deep chamber for long smoking sessions. The paneled construction of the bowl provides an engaging presence in hand as well as a pleasant contrast to the upturned round shank. Jeppesen's accent work elevates the shank with a mottled yellow acrylic cap at the conjunction with a comfortably bent stem, also in acrylic. Dressed in a finely textured sandblast, the stummel boasts a contrasting black and orange stain, accentuating the excellent grain around the bowl.
