Pete Prevost: Sandblasted Mini Swan Tobacco Pipe

Certainly one of Pete's more playful creations, this Mini Swan balances a rather muscular sense of proportions with a seriously compact length (2.7") and an array of sinuous, gestural lines throughout. From the saddle-like dip of the rim to the cupping underside of the bowl and transition, to the gorgeous S-curve from end to end, Pete's taken all the elegant flow inherent in a large Danish design and scaled it down to pocket pipe proportions — making for a charmingly whimsical and downright handy pipe you can take with you anywhere. Fittingly, Pete chose to keep the shaping front and center, finishing it in a fine-textured, jet-black sandblast — unveiling a gorgeous blasted grain pattern while keeping those aforementioned lines clean and flowing.
