Peterson: Adventures of Sherlock Holmes Rusticated Sylvius Fishtail
Product Number: 002-029-21673
In their latest edition of the famed Sherlock Holmes pipes, Peterson presents four more novel designs inspired by characters from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's legendary stories. This rather lofty straight Billiard takes its name from the dangerous diamond thief and villain Count Negretto Sylvius from The Adventure of the Mazarin Stone
. His name, itself, means "dark wood" — conjuring up images of the dark nights our beloved detective lay awake awaiting an attempt on his life by this dastardly ambitious noble. Fittingly, the briar is finished in a ruby stain and dark rustication and topped with a broad sterling silver band — displaying both the rugged and refined nature of the cunning Count.
