Peterson: Castle Smooth "Lismore" Fishtail Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-029-17412
Lismore is one of the most highly regarded names in all of Ireland (Waterford didn't choose the name of its most popular pattern on a whim). Widely regarded by many as the most beautiful castle in the Emerald Isle, the site was originally occupied by the Lismore Abbey in the early 7th century and considered one of the advanced centers for learning of that age. The occupants of the castle almost appears to be a "Whose Who" of the decades to come (Sir Walter Raleigh, anyone?). The painfully perfect panels of the Lismore shape well reflect the architecture of its namesake and the sterling band with crown complements the composition to perfection.
