Peterson: Smooth Grey Prince Churchwarden Fishtail Tobacco Pipe

I don't know why I like this particular shape-finish combination so much, but I do. The classic dark grey stain and bright band just seem to work so well on a Churchwarden, especially this classic Prince shaped Churchwarden. Perhaps the irony of it being all dressed up, but far too long to take to the opera, is what I find so charming about it. So, if you, like me, periodically find yourself wanting to put on a tux to sit at home and read, this may be the perfect fit for you. Of course, it needn't be quite that contrived, it's worth having just because it is such a delightfully attractive shape-finish combination.
