Peterson: Natural Amber Stem Spigot (X220) P-Lip Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-029-30944
As one of Peterson's most muscular shapes, the "X220" bent Billiard is already a stout one. Lend it slender, silver spigot mount and a gracefully bent stem of genuine, vintage amber, and it becomes charmingly chubby in profile. Such a configuration is presented here as a member of the marque's Amber Spigot line, a limited-run series of briars sporting new old stock stems of the rarefied material, paired to some of the firm's most sought-after contemporary shapes.
Note: Genuine amber stems are quite delicate, so make sure to take care when removing the stem. Remove by gripping the silver tenon rather than the amber or button. Also, while thinner, regular pipe cleaners will work fine, avoid extra fluffy or bristled cleaners, as they might damage the amber. When cleaning use only a small amount of alcohol if needed, do not buff, soak, or clean these stems with anything abrasive. We also recommend avoiding clenching or holding these pipes in your teeth, again to prevent damage to the vintage amber. As with vulcanite, amber stems also should not be left in direct sunlight.
