Peterson: St. Patrick's Day 2022 (104) Fishtail Tobacco Pipe

Among Peterson's most svelte and soft-lined Billiard renditions, the "104" dates back to the 1906 catalog and is notably smaller than the Irish marque's "101," "X105," "106," and "107" Billiards. Its slender size is closest to the "102," and it comes in two versions: One features a standard, straight stem, while the other displays a subtle downturn for added elegance and languid curvature. Such a posture lends it a Prince-like air and one that makes this already portable pipe all the more comfortably clenched, with the straight version maintaining a sleek and stoic disposition for traditional appeal.

The St. Patrick's Day series is Peterson's longest-standing annual release, having debuted in 1998. The series is among the marque's most celebrated and highly anticipated releases, and like previous versions, the 2022 rendition pays homage to Kapp & Peterson's storied Irish heritage with a color palette befitting the Emerald Isle. This Peterson St. Patrick's Day pipe wears the workshop's signature, hand-tooled rustication and a rich, walnut stain, and it's elevated by a fishtail stem of emerald-green acrylic fitted to a nickel army mount.
