Peterson's "307" is one of the marque's largest bent Billiard designs within the System series and does an exceptional job at showcasing the marque's robust and muscular approach to shaping, especially in the proportions of its shank and transition. The stout insulating walls of the bowl fill the hand effortlessly, while the generously bent stem still allows it to be comfortably clenched. Its staunch, substantial disposition coupled with the Irish firm's patented System engineering results in a bold take on the shape chart standard and one that's unmistakably the signature work of one of pipedom's most respected and legendary companies.

Peterson's longest-standing annual release, the Irish marque's St. Patrick's Day line debuted in 1998. The series is among the marque's most celebrated and highly anticipated releases, and like previous versions, the 2024 rendition pays homage to Kapp & Peterson's storied Irish heritage with a color palette befitting the Emerald Isle. Comprising an assortment of iconic Peterson's shapes in five different finishes, all with System engineering, this release's standout feature is the vibrant green acrylic military mount which replaces the standard nickel variety. The fitment offers a rich dose of contrast to the composition, especially against the black acrylic P-Lip stem, and this particular pipe wears an inky stain and a rugged sandblast: further enhancing this contrast. Additionally, this pipe has been serialized out of 1600 total pieces, a limited edition that includes a pipe bag made from hand-woven Irish tweed for stylish and festive carry.
