Peterson: Arklow Sandblasted (69) Fishtail Tobacco Pipe

The "69" is one of Peterson's most traditional English designs, representing the style of bent Billiard common to classic English and French marques. The prominent transition and heavy-set shank that define Peterson's aesthetic are forgone, replaced by a more slender, angular profile. Originally, the Arklow series was a limited release from Peterson, exclusive to Smokingpipes. However, in 2020, the line was re-introduced as part of the Irish marque's standard lineup. The Arklow showcases Peterson's in-house sandblasting process, which utilizes an artisan-style setup for more individual control when finishing each pipe. Dressed in a rustic, walnut stain and fitted with a nickel army mount and fishtail stem, the Arklow line presents pipes that display the briar's natural grain patterns in stunning relief, beautifully combining rugged and elegant aesthetics.
