Peterson: Gold Mounted Supreme Straight Grain (XL24) (P-Lip) Tobacco Pipe

I've seen this shape in a handful of finishes across a few different series now. While I've been particularly inclined to drool over the 'XL24' in its rusticated 'Kinsale' presentation, I have to admit that this bent billiard, which features some really lovely, diagonally fixed, shank lines, is really charming here in Peterson's 'Gold Mounted Supreme Straight Grain' series. The light, tan stain and the fetching gold band class up the piece quite nicely.
