Brad Pohlmann: Sandblasted Diamond Shank Canadian Tobacco Pipe

A neat variation on an old classic, this Brad Pohlmann Canadian takes the shape in a sharper direction, with a modified, slimmed-down, and stretched Bulldog shank. Curiously, rather than take the shape entirely in some sort of hard, rakish, sleek direction, he instead counter-balanced the look of the shank by dropping the bowl just a bit — just enough to create a more obvious sense of roundness around its heel and underside. Despite that sense of roundness though, Brad did actually manage to place a flat at the underside of the bowl, so, even with that appearance of dipping curve, this Canadian still sits just perfectly.
