Brad Pohlmann: Smooth Bent Dublin with Boxwood
Product Number: 002-381-0130
With a strong forward cant and an easy flow, this Brad Pohlmann bent Dublin offers up what we've come to expect from the carver: a mixture of Danish influence with his own personal touch. The former comes in the wide rim and lifting gesture to the heel, while the latter comes in the slightly cheeked nature of the rim, broadening at the edges for a trumpeting display. The grain here is exceptional, with flame and straight consistent around the bowl, and birdseye packed tightly into the rim, all dressed in a warm contrast stain that pairs splendidly with a trim, pale boxwood mount.
