Brad Pohlmann: Smooth Bent Egg Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-381-0139

Calling to mind the carver's Lars Blowfish, this bent Egg is not unlike certain others we've seen from Brad Pohlmann in the past, though he's foregone the softly rounded, and occasionally teardrop-shaped shank for something of a domed arrangement. Said shank is imbued with a hard ridge at each flank that melts stealthily into the bowl at the bowl's base, all while perfectly defining the boundary of birdseye and flame. Like many of Brad's iterations on the form, this fellow sports a seriously forward-inclined bowl, lent a softly-chamfered rim to easily fill it with tobacco. The combination of bowl, shank and long, downturned saddle is quite smart, making for an artful composition with some modernist inclinations. Highly recommended.
