Radice: Spring 2022 Retro Apple with Silver and Leather Bag Tobacco Pipe

The first of four limited-edition, season-inspired releases and comprising only 50 pipes, Radice's Spring series presents a straight Apple of Nosewarmer length in a variety of stylish finishes. Shape-wise, the design pairs a plump, rounded bowl to a gradually diminishing shank-and-stem arrangement, which slenderizes the aft side of the composition and keeps most of the visual weight anchored at the fore. In keeping with the theme of the series, a sterling silver accent etched with newly blossomed flowers adorns the shank end and adds a subtle dose of flash to the pipe in profile. This particular rendition is dressed in the extra-craggy, Retro rustication — hearkening to the workshop's Bark finish of years past and offering a wealth of intriguing texture in-hand.
