To say this Magnum Pot by Radice is large or palm-filling would be an understatement, as it is both of those things and more. Over half a pound in total weight, this sure Sitter presents an extra-bold take on the Italian neoclassical design, with a firm heel, slight backward lean to the massive bowl, and a stout, quickly tapering shank and stem. It's wearing a craggy rustication, with the broad rim left smooth and lightly stained, the rest of the stummel dressed in the deep, rugged hues of the Rind finish's dark ruby stain. A black acrylic stem continues the shank's taper, reaching a comfortable, hand-shaped lip button and completing the imposing profile of this monolith of briar.
