This Billiard from Radice is a stylish, eye-catching take on the classic form. It boasts a rather tall, brawny bowl that rises from a flat, sure-sitting heel in a cylindrical outline that stays rather consistent as it reaches toward the rim. The shank-and-stem arrangement extends from the low-set transition and tapers toward a fine bit, effectively slenderizing the aft side of the composition and keeping most of the visual weight with the bowl. The shank has been hand-carved in a smooth, spiral pattern while the stummel is dressed in the dark, pebbly, finger-pleasing Rind rustication, the Nosewarmer dimensions of this piece making it a stylish contender for designated travel pipe.
