Radice: Rind Pure Rhodesian with Faux Bamboo Tobacco Pipe

Sturdy and muscular, this Rhodesian from Radice features a tall, upright bowl that stands proudly at the fore of a sleek shank-and-stem arrangement. A pair of beadlines wraps around the bowl's mid-set waistline and demarcates the taper to the rim from the rest of the stummel, while the shank and stem taper subtly together and slenderize the aft side of the composition. At the shank, we can see one of Radice's signature treatments: a faux bamboo carving from briar comprising a pair of knuckles, adding some visual intrigue at the aft to balance the visual weight of the bowl. The Pure iteration of the Rind rustication dresses the stummel, keeping the briar matte and unstained while providing plenty of crisp texture for the fingers to explore, save for the rim and beadlines, which are left smooth for contrast.
