Stout of bowl and shank, yet abbreviated in length, Radice's Aero pipes project a muscular aesthetic with plenty of functionality. And that's not by mistake — that stout shank boasts reverse Calabash internals. With firmness at the heel, the rugged Rind finish, a pale shank of faux bamboo carved in briar, and including its own hardwood tamper, this is a composition that combines Radice's stunning presentation with some brilliant engineering. The tamper features a notch along the top, meant to secure a paper towel wrapped around the end — suitable for cleaning the pipe's condensation chamber.
